Yesterday we went to paradise for toddlers. A land filled with pony rides, Easter egg hunts, hay rides, bounce houses, playgrounds, cotton candy, hot dogs, and french fries surrounded by train tracks used by a pint-sized railroad. Put simply- Easter Eggstravaganza at Irvine Regional Park rocks! It goes on now through Saturday and I highly encourage anyone in the area who has children 8 and under to hightail it on over there!
The kids had an absolute blast and Mari even found a sparkly green prize egg with a free admission to the Orange County Zoo inside! The zoo is located in the park which means we will be heading back soon. Not that we needed the motivation. I would say our highlights included riding the ponies (only $4 and it was a long ride. We have done our fair share of pony rides and I would consider this one a bargain), hunting for eggs (the hunt is broken up by age range), riding the train (or "toot toot" as my kid call it), and eating their first cotton candy. I think I will let the pictures do most of the talking today. Oh- and I would love to give a shout out to Just Spotted for tipping me off to this fantastic event! Thanks ladies!

It looks like you guys had a ball!!
Thank you for visiting our blog!
How fun! I didn't know they were doing that already. I took the kids there for the Halloween event, and MAN it was SO crowded that we had to leave. I mean, 3 people per square inch of the place.... but the egg day sounds like a lot of fun. It is a beautiful park and I've been wanting to go back for a while.
It looks like you all had so much fun, as always!!! So what did they think of their first cotton candy? I gave my kids their first taste last summer and they LOVED it, much to my dismay!!
That looks like so much fun! Your pics are great!
That sounds...and looks... like so much fun!

Leaving some love from SITS!
Looks like a blast!!
OH! I can just imagine! Ben must've been in "ball" aka egg heaven!
Great pics and looks like a great time!
What a great day. I love that park but still haven't been to the zoo there. You'll have to tell me what it's like and whether it's worth my while to do one last trip up there.
