Sunrise in Yellowstone is truly a special time. The animals are active, the lighting is gorgeous, and the people are scarce. Dawn is a great time to enjoy the beauty of our nation’s first National Park. These pictures were taken by my husband, Paul, at dawn in Yellowstone.

What a waterfall! Simply amazing..so is that juxtaposition!
The photos bring back some great memories from Yellowstone. Be sure to hike the Norris Geyser Basin, it has been a hotbed of activity for the last 5 years. I can't wait to go back with the kids some day.
Great shots...makes me wish we'd had far more time at Yellowstone when we visited a couple of years ago.
